Winter is Upon Us

It's getting cold outside and I'm still on a Californian wardrobe. I don't know how to dress in this weather! It's come to my attention that I dont have many items of clothing that have sleeves. Definitely a problem when it's 30 degrees outside. More weather appropriate looks I'm hoping to achieve...

i'm really into these mullet dresses but haven't figured out a way to wear them during the winter - this totes works!

also really loving midi dress and skirts. and this one has SLEEVES!

happy friday | spring colors

jenna and i took a little trip to home depot during our lunch break to pick out our "spring colors" in paint samples!
mine are the ones on the bottom: bermudan blue, spring stream, delicate lace, pale coral, antique copper.

you may remember we did this last summer in preparation for our "fall colors" - Pretty Nice Little Saturday...

jenna was quick to point out that my colors are more or less the same. swapped out some blues for some blue-greens apparently. whatever, at least i'm consistent? we dont have seasons in LA anyway.

i traded bermudan blue for some caribe and it looks more spring to me now. branching out, lookit me making strides in 2011!

urban outfitters apparently had a photo contest where couples submitted their best snapshot interpretation of "modern love". hipsters need them some lovin too.

i've never been one of those girls to browse through wedding books and gush at dresses, but holy couture, i am in love with this gown. my friend vicky had sent a link of artsy wedding photos and included in it is now officially my dream dress.

and she pulls it off so well (is that creepy of me to say given i dont know her. and weird of me to post. hmm)

this location is ridic too - where is she, the secret garden?! (that's what the garden looked to me in my head when i read the book)

• hayden panties-airy, that red thing made her look plumper than usual (i know she's tiny, but she did not look it)

• mila kunis. i dont know what happened... she looks hot, as in her face is hot, and i really like the top part of the dress, but maybe it's the length or the froofriness of the tulle - it gives her a terrible shape/silhouette.
