Did you know...
this is what the inside of a pear looks like?
learn something new everyday! it's so flower-y and peaaar-fectly (HA!) symmetrical. I tried to use it as a stamp, but i only had nail polish... and it just turned into this watery nail polish puddle. too bad i couldnt turn it into pearaphernalia (HA!)!

There's this cartoon shorts series on the interwebs that I LOVE. It's about this dude and his cat. They recently came out with a new episode. I actually think I like this one the most. Simon's Cat is totes Poe and Poopsie!!

1000 days of Summer

1000 because I've seen it twice already in the first 5 days it was out. I haven't even seen harry potter twice yet. I think that says a lot.
LOVE it. quirky, hilar, weird, amazingness, break out into dance scene: everything you'd want in a movie. AND it has a superb soundtrack. Go see it!
And they have this fun thing HERE where you can upload your own photos into the poster:

Also, just found this funny little gem on the interwebs. the movie definitely could have benefitted from inclusion of this scene, nothing like some upper man thigh to bring a film to the next level. (it wont make sense to you unless you've seen the movie, so go see it if you haven't!!):

Look Book - Forever 21

I've never really been a brand whore (god knows I love that $5 rack at Urban) and recently I noticed some pretty legit styles at Forever 21. They started all these "luxury" lines, like twelve by twelve or love 21, and although I'm sure the dresses will crumble after 3 wears, it's all good cuz they're all under $30.
I'm going shopping tomorrow with Jenna and I'll be looking for:
Also, just thought about the ridiculousness of me, at 24, shopping at Forever 21. Is it still ok that I shop at Forever 21 as a 24 year old? Or is it pathetic because I'm supporting the idea of being forever 21, and dressing as I did as a 21 year old... ok i rather not thinking about it

Crafts I want to attack during the weekend:
Can't wait to craft, haven't in a while. I get to use my glue gun again!!!
that was a geeky statement. don't judge me based on that.
Cutlery Hooks
Tote Bag Pillows
(Great because I have a shit ton of totes and no pillows)

Paint Swatch Wall
(I don't think Home Depot will be happy with me taking all their swatches...)
Yellow Pages Pencil Holder

Look Book - The Fashion Show
I got cable on Saturday. I havent had more than 5 working channels since college. So naturally I spent all weekend watching marathons on Bravo and MTV. Highlights included Top Chef Masters (where did that asian chick host come from??), 16 and Pregnant (juno-turned-tv series?), and The Fashion Show (poor man's proj runway).
I don't particularly like how The Fashion Show is put together... and their runway looks really jenky looking, Kelly Rolwand is totally whatever, and the contestants are only OK.
However, one desigener's final collection was AWESOME. Ready to wear stuff, but I really like her style/choice of colors. I think her name was Anna? Anyway, here were her looks:
